Do I have to be a club member to order Illinois Event Plates?
No. Anyone can order a plate. For driving in Illinois, any ordinary passenger car with an Illinois registration works: Nissan, Tesla, Honda, Camaro, Ford and others. You do not need a Maluch or an antique car. It is a way to show support for Polish classics.
When will I get my driving plates?
About 2 months before the parade, once the plates are produced and the program is approved. You can display them for up to 60 days, until May 1, 2027. We will announce the exact start date after SOS approval.
How long must the registration of my current car be valid?
To order and use driving plates in Illinois, the registration (current plates) of your car must be valid through May 2027, meaning it expires in May 2027 or later. If it expires earlier, renew it early with the Secretary of State and upload a new copy of your registration card.
I live outside Illinois or in Poland. Can I order?
Yes, with souvenir option #2. You do not need a car or any documents. We release the plate from May 2, 2027. You can pick it up in person, ship it to family in the USA or abroad for an extra fee.
Can I order just the letter Q or the number 1?
Yes. The text has 1 to 5 characters: letters, digits and spaces between them. Digits cannot stand between letters (A1B no, ABC12 and 126P yes). Each text can have only one owner in this edition, so it is yours if nobody has ordered it yet.
How do I pay?
Only with Zelle, right after placing your order. As soon as your order is saved, its page shows the amount, the Zelle recipient (phone number or email) and a ready Memo, for example LODZ - Jan Kowalski. The administrator confirms the payment manually after checking the account. If we cannot approve your text, we refund your full payment.
What if I change my mind?
Contact the club. If you have not paid, we cancel the order and release the text. If you have paid, we refund you through the bank and release the text after the full refund.
Can I move the plates to another car?
No. Driving plates are assigned to one specific car.
